Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Catmerce ("Catmerce," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website (catmerce.com) and application (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using Catmerce, you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Description of Service

Catmerce is a software platform that connects Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads accounts with Shopify and/or WooCommerce stores, allowing users to view unified performance data, generate reports, and receive automated insights and alerts about their advertising and store performance.

Catmerce is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Shopify Inc., or Automattic Inc. (WooCommerce). Use of those platforms through Catmerce remains subject to each platform's own terms of service.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@catmerce.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free Trial, Subscriptions, and Billing

  • Free Trial: New accounts receive a 1-month (30-day) free trial of the Service. No charge is made during the trial period.
  • Subscription: After the trial ends, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription, billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) through our payment processor, Paymob.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
  • Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to the Service until payment is resolved.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Connected Platforms

By connecting a Meta Ads account, Shopify store, or WooCommerce store, you authorize Catmerce to access and process data from that platform via its official API, solely to provide the features of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any such account or store to Catmerce, and for complying with the terms of those third-party platforms.

You may disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate the terms of service of Meta, Shopify, or WooCommerce
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding data from your connected platforms), is owned by Catmerce and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. You retain all rights to your own store and advertising data.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Catmerce does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and is not responsible for outages, inaccuracies, or changes caused by third-party platforms (Meta, Shopify, WooCommerce, Paymob) that we do not control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catmerce and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@catmerce.com.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice where appropriate.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
